Air Cairo, a leading airline with a 20-year legacy, marks a significant milestone with the inauguration of its new route connecting Cairo and Sharjah. The inaugural flight, coinciding with the airline's 20th Anniversary, signifies a notable expansion in Air Cairo's network.

His Excellency Ali Salim Almidfa, Chairman of Sharjah International Airport Authority, along with department managers and officials from Sharjah Airport, joined Air Cairo in commemorating this achievement. The ceremony acknowledged the collaborative efforts that brought the new route to fruition.

Mr. Hussein Sherif, Chairman and CEO of Air Cairo, expressed his honor in confirming the initiation of a new developmental phase for the airline. This initiative aims to enhance operational efficiency, accommodate passenger movement, and open new horizons for Air Cairo.

With the youngest fleet in Africa and the Middle East, boasting an average aircraft age of five years, Air Cairo operates from seven Egyptian airports, including Sohag, Asyut, Hurghada, Borg El Arab, and Marsa Alam, in addition to Cairo Airport. The airline's network spans major airports in Europe, the Balkans, East Asia, and Africa.

Mr. Hussein Sherif extended gratitude to Al Rais Travel & Shipping Agencies LLC, Air Cairo's General Sales Agent (GSA) in the UAE, recognizing their pivotal role. He conveyed best wishes for continued success in expanding Air Cairo's reach.
