Purpose of the Role

To manage the complete travel requirements of the corporate client, which involves conducting research and collecting information on the destinations, flights & hotels which suits the clientele.

To be first point of contact to provide travel details and up-selling of related product and this within the guidelines of our company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Handling incoming travel request (booking tickets, hotels, transfer & etc) by email & phone.

• Research various destinations and means of travel regarding fares, customs, weather conditions & etc.

• Follow client’s process of ordering tickets/services.

• Follow process of seeking appropriate approval’s before offering services.

• Actively up-selling and cross selling of our various products

• Diagnose the client’s specifications and wishes and suggest suitable travel packages

• To promote special IT & Corporate fares for all packages to maximize profits.

• To provide feedback on the daily operational processes and commercial relationship with key personnel.

• To comply with company regulations while making the itinerary.

• To use only company approved suppliers/vendors.

Senior Sales Executive: Airlines

• To effectively manage trade and corporate relationships to support station commercial objectives by conducting regular sales visit.

• To monitor operations and administration of sales in line with company procedures and policies.

• To assist in the development of value-added products for implementation in the local market in order to further optimize and enhance revenue

• To control, guide and monitor the day-to-day activities of all field sales staff & Counter Sales Staff to ensure satisfactory performance levels and smooth flow of business.

• To ensure that the product and promotional plans are understood and implemented to give the greatest impact in the market.

• To prepare weekly, monthly and annual sales reports and constant monitoring of market trends and competitor activities in order to ensure that Head Office is kept informed of local conditions.

• To review the fortnightly and monthly sales of travel agents and to ensure that business potential is being maximized and to take suitable remedial actions.

• To liaise with marketing and other passenger service related departments of Emirates to ensure well integrated sales effort.

Purpose of the Role

Promoting UAE as a prepared holiday’s destination for the customers, handling leisure-related tasks to ensure company profitability and achieving targets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Evaluate existing business procedures and recommend improvements.
  • Generate sales in Group Travel, FIT Hotel and visa from overseas.
  • Organize regular meetings with management to discuss about market trends, business updates, and opportunities for growth.
  • To update daily & weekly Inbound package sales report
  • Be a UAE Destination Specialist and be up to date with city highlights, local events, destination details that will enhance the value proposition of the inbound traveler to Dubai/UAE.
  • Plan trips and itineraries that will enhance customer experience and allow the Holiday proposition to be engaging and saleable.
  • Be technologically astute in formulating the costing of the destination packages.
  • Develop industry partnership and vendor relations with all inbound related services.
  • Assist in contracting and identify preferred vendors for all the ground services.
  • Perform market search to study consumer behavior, last trends and competitors’ activities.
  • To participate in trade expos/exhibitions/brochure launches or any other promotional event conducted by the tourism board.
  • To use only company-approved suppliers/vendors.
  • Supervise and guide the inbound team to maximize revenue.
  • Evaluate employee performance and develop the individual development plan.
  • To continuously source and service new business from existing and new market.
  • To oversee and manage the operational activities to support and provide an efficient service delivery for customers.
  • To understand the regulatory and compliance issues in relation to inbound activities in UAE
  • Any other accountabilities extended by the management in Al Rais Group.
